FOR HEALTH & SAFETY AND TO ENSURE PROPER ADAPTATION TO ALTITUDE IS ACHIEVED, THE FIRST 8 SESSIONS FOR ANY INDIVIDUAL AT ALTITUDE ARE ALL BASED ON BUILDING EACH PERSONS AEROBIC CAPACITY TO ALTITUDE. THIS MEANS THEY WILL TRAIN AT WHAT WE CALL A "STEADY STATE". THEIR HEART RATE AND OXYGEN SATURATION LEVELS ARE TO REMAIN CONSTANT FOR 30 MINS AS DETERMINED BY THE ALTITUDE SPECIALIST. AFTER THIS STAGE THE INDIVIDUAL MAY CROSS TRAIN (SPIN, BOX, CIRCUIT) TO ENTER AN ANAEROBIC STATE.
ALTITUDE BOX A 30 minute boxing class using drills and combinations designed specifically for altitude.
ALTITUDE SPIN A 30 minute spin class. Ride to the beat of the music using techniques and intervals designed specifically for altitude.
ALTITUDE CIRCUIT A 30 minute circuit using a combination of cardiovascular and resistance exercises designed specifically for altitude.
